“Do you believe in ghosts?” Cow asked.
“Fifty percent,” I said.
“Are you afraid of the ghosts?”
“No, I'm not. I’m afraid of humans.”
“Why?”
“Because the ghost doesn't eat pig, but humans do.”
Cow nodded its head, “You're right.”
“Hey pig, we should go to pray today to make us born as a human next life,” duck said.
“No, I don't want to be a human,” I said.
“Why?”
“I don't see humans as good. They like to lie, cheat and change the truth.”
Duck shrank eyes, “Really?”
“Yes, don't you see their society is in chaos? It's because they think ugly, they speak untruth, they do bad deeds. Their lives are miserable because of their own selves. I better stay as a pig. Free and peaceful,” I said proudly.
It was a dark night. There was a sound of wolf howling from the north, but I didn’t run into the house; I laid my back on the lounge in the front yard.
The crow flew to perch on a branch of the tree in front of my house. She looked at me then looked at the direction where the howling sound appeared, back and forth.
“Are you not afraid?” Crow said. “The wolf is coming to you.”
“Let it come,” I said.
The howling sound was nearer and nearer. I still sat in the lounge with no fear on my face. Then the howling stopped.
The crow flew, then she came back and said, “The wolf came but he left. He saw you got a dog. I think he will not come back for a quite long period.”
“Oh,” I said.
“Where do you get the dog? I think it is big or its house would not be huge and tall like this,” the crow said.
I didn't say a word but gave a smile to her. I took a cup of warm water to drink. My eyes were looking at the glow of fireflies in the jungle before my house.
Actually there was no dog. It was an empty dog’s house I took from the house of a human who I had worked for many years ago.
It was a sunny evening. I laid in a wooden lounge in the front yard of my house and enjoyed coconut juice.
The crow flew to perch on a branch in front of my house.
“Hello buddy, how have you been? I’m worried about you,” I said.
“I am always fine,” the crow said. “You should worry about yourself.”
“Why?”
“The wolf is finding a way to get you.”
“Oh,” I said, then I raised up my back from the lounge to drink the coconut juice.
“Look like you don’t worry about anything,” the crow said. “The wolf! Do you know him? The wolf. He is the wolf. He comes to eat you.”
“Ugh, take it easy buddy,” I said after drinking the coconut juice. Next, I laid on my back in the lounge, pulled a black glasses to wear, and put my head on my hands. “I can’t fight with him if I don’t have enough sleep, my stomach is empty and my head and mind is stressed.”
We wanted to have a picnic at the lake and we were discussing food we should cook. Cow and duck were arguing while the twin pigs and I were listening.
“I want to be the chef,” cow said.
“No, I should be the chef,” duck said.
“I should be, not you,” cow said.
“No, I should be,” duck said.
Feeling strange about their argument, I decided to ask, “You want to be a chef, so you will cook, won't you?”
“No,” cow and duck said at the same time, “I want to be the chef but you are the cook.”
I opened my eyes, “Why me? Two of you want to be the chef. Why don't you cook?”
“I just want to be the chef, but I don't want to cook. You have to cook.”
After hearing two of them say, I shook my head, “Who wants to be the chef is the cook. If the chef doesn't cook, let's go home.”
No one said anything. Then the picnic was canceled.
“Why do you watch Rosita? Why don't you watch other animals?” Duck said.
“Why do you want me to watch other animals?” I said.
“Because you are a pig and Rosita is a pig too. You will not get anything from watching the pig. If you watch other animals, you will be able to learn from them.”
“Why do I have to learn from other animals while I am a pig?” I stated. “I am a pig. I should watch anything about the pig to learn how the pig motivates themselves, encourages themselves, and solves their problems themselves.”
I was surprised as I opened my door and saw the crow piercing on a table in the yard. Her eyes were like panda’s eyes and she looked at me with a furious glance.
“Good morning,” I said. “What’s happened to your eyes?”
“Idiot,” the crow said. “I didn’t sleep for the whole night to get information for you and I waited for you here since the sun didn’t rise, and you just got up.”
“It’s not my fault to get up at lunch time.”
“I don’t want to argue with you. I came here to tell you that the wolf doesn’t give up on getting you. So be careful.”
“Oh, thank you for telling me. But why did you tell me? I think you want to eat me too.”
“Sure, I want to eat you. I told you this news to pay for your kindness that you gave me a straw to drink water last time.”
After telling it, the crow flew away.
“Pig, where do you come from?” Robert asked. “I went to the market to buy this box,” I said and showed him. “What is it?” “It’s a foam conta...
